It's one of the best ways to tap into organic Google traffic.
By strategically targeting keywords I can get my articles to rank on the first page of Google.
If I succeed, I can drive qualified leads through my funnel.
There's a few key concepts that you have to keep in mind when you're trying to rank your reviews:
- Target keywords with buying intent, like "best affiliate programs" or "Mailchimp vs. Active Campaign." People searching for these types of keywords are almost ready to buy.
- Target keywords with a high search volume (they'll drive more leads).
- Target keywords with low competition (they'll be easier to rank for).
You can use SEO tools like SEMRush to find these "low-hanging fruit" keywords and to brainstorm additional keywords.
PRO TIP: Whenever you publish a new article on your website, blast it out to your email list and include a link to the original article in the body of the email. This will send traffic to the article and help its rankings.
6. Create Your Own Irresistible Bonus Offer
A lot of the times I like to sweeten the deal with my own bonus packages.
When I do product reviews, I make sure to out-do the bonus offers of other bloggers.
For example, if the site that's currently ranking #1 for Funnels Hacks has pretty epic bonus content, I try to put together an even better one.
